I know, I know. Phone photos are definitely a thing. But so much of the time, they’re an absolute snore. A huge percentage of my own phone photos are super boring and camped out on my always storage-less phone doing absolutely nothing (she says full of photographer shame). You deserve to have photographs that do justice to how hilarious and awesome your life is right now, even in its chaos. After all, photos are what we’ll look back on forever when our kids, our relationships, and our lives are on to the next phase before we even realize the old one ended. It’s wild, but it’s beautiful.
And our photos should be too. With beautiful photographs, you get to relive each phase instead of leave it behind.

I’ll be able to help guide all the behind-the-scenes considerations that help make your photos look awesome. I can help us find the beautiful light, give you some hot wardrobe tips, and save you from ever having to worry that you won’t know what to do in front of the camera.
I use a combination of true candids and guided prompting to capture beautiful moments that feel genuine and authentic… but with help!

As a part of the process, we’ll plan a session that feels perfect for you and your crew.
We can capture Saturday morning pancake breakfasts, go to your favorite park, capture the “night night routine,” catch that beautiful Chicago skyline, freeze the joy of summer, venture through your neighborhood, head to the bar (no seriously… I’ve done this!), or have a cozy day at home.
Have kids? Me too… and wild ones. I always use a child-centered approach so we can be adaptive and playful, capturing their genuine little selves instead of the special kind of torture that comes with trying to make a toddler sit still and smile. Things will be laid back and flexible as we capture the beautiful ordinary.
